History
Ruskington Christian Fellowship (RCF) was first formed by a small group of
Christians in the village. Through the decades the church has seen lots of
changes, none more so than in 1998 when it put itself under the care of
Emmanuel Christian Centre, Newark, led by Pastor ken Morgan. By this time, RCF
was struggling and needed some help and support. This came in the way of
ministry teams being sent over each week, eventually leading to the current
leaders becoming involved and part of the leadership of the church. The
decision was taken to change the name of the church to Emmanuel Christian
Centre, Ruskington, in order for it to be connected to a network of ECC
churches. In 2003 the old church building was knocked down and, due to the
immense generosity of people in the church, a brand new one was opened in
September 2004. In 2008 the church became South Lincs Church.
